Social Innovations to Foster Equity

Project Manager and Co-chair of the Healthy Neighborhoods committee, Cleveland Department of Public Health. 

Executed the We Wear the Mask Movement,  a community-building and place-making project engaging local artists, residents, and community organizations to foster racial healing and empowerment in the wake of racial unrest after 2020. The project was done in conjunction with Graffiti HeArt, LAND studio, Burten Bell Carr Development, and Greater Cleveland RTA amongst other partners.

Co-chair of the Healthy Neighborhoods committee, Cleveland Department of Public Health. Led the team in the development of this incredible film used to engage national audiences regarding Black infant mortality. The film was done in partnership with the First Year Cleveland Pregnancy and Infant Loss Committee.  It was produced and directed by Your Story on Film and Stimuli Film.  

Project Manager for the Make Art Talk Race: Elephant in the Room project.  This project brought community members together for 8 weeks of discussion and relationship-building to address internalized racism while creating a float for the annual Cleveland Museum of Art's Parade the Circle event which draws over 75,000 attendees.
